Engaging on Diabetes

Task: Open Road and Virgo HEALTH are currently working together on an integrated public affairs and PR project for the Bristol-Myers Squibb and AstraZeneca Alliance in Diabetes. Our primary objective is to create a positive environment for the treatment of Type 2 diabetes.

What we did: Open Road devised a local engagement strategy that saw the Alliance host two workshops in association with NHS Diabetes with primary care stakeholders on best practice on diabetes commissioning which were fed into the DH’s new diabetes commissioning toolkit, and launched at a stakeholder reception in Parliament.
